REAL ESTATE

I love working with people and I am passionate about Real Estate. I am dedicated to providing my clients with a level of knowledge and service that will allow them to fulfill the dream of owning their ideal home.  I began my career as a residential agent in 2007 after spending two and a half years as an insurance appraiser.  These skills, along with my degree and experience as an administrative assistant, have given me several great tools to be a valuable resource to my clients.

I have personally bought and sold residential real estate and, through these experiences, realized what a value it is to have someone you trust guide you through the process.  I partnered with Keller Williams because they have an impeccable reputation with a strong belief in education and training so their agents are prepared to address any and all issues and questions that come their way.   I believe in the saying ‘knowledge is power’ and I work hard to educate my clients and friends not only on what to expect when they are ready to buy and/or sell their property, but what is going on in the market and changes they can expect over the coming months and years.

I have recently teamed up with the fantastic duo of Kelsey & Bob Lane of the Lane & Lane team.  With them, I can expand my services and better assist those who come to us for help.  As a group, I am confident that there is nothing we can't handle.

Our territory stretches from South San Francisco to Monterey, though my area of expertise is here in the Silicon Valley.   When I’m not helping my clients, I spend my free hours in training to keep abreast of all the important changes in this business. I have completed a designation to become a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) so that I am qualified to assist seniors – from the newly retired to the elderly – with a variety of services.   In this capacity I work to help seniors understand their options and how I can help them get what they want – including staying in their home if that is what they wish to do.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

I grew up in the Los Angeles area until I moved to San Fransico to obtain my BA in Psychology at SFSU. I chose psychology due to my interest and skill in working with and listening to people.  After a brief return to Los Angeles where I met my husband, I was again bidden to relocate to the Bay Area, this time in the South Peninsula.

My career path began at a multi-line insurance company where I started as an executive assistant and then transferred to an appraisal position with their personal lines department.  It was in these capacities that I learned uniquely valuable tools to help my clients in Real Estate.

As an assistant, I was responsible for managing the world of three executives as well as responding to the needs of a branch of approximately 150 employees.  I'm sure you can appreciate the varied and urgent demands servicing this many people might entail - I can honestly say it was an environment in which I thrived.  I found it an extremely rewarding experience to manage the needs of all these indivudals and keep a level of sanity that didn't negatively affect my home life.  As an appraiser, I learned the details of home construction and evaluation. My training provided me with an understanding of the methods of construction, their costs, and the potential issues that can arise with a lack of care and maintenance on a home.
